Opened in 1992, the Japanese American National Museum promotes understanding and appreciation of America’s ethnic and cultural diversity by sharing the Japanese American experience. Located on Little Tokyo Historic District’s 1st Street, the museum is a key cultural institution in Little Tokyo. With rotating art exhibits in addition to vibrant cultural collections, JANM is a draw for new and repeat visitors as well as residents.  (Photo credit: Justefrain)
