Our Mission
By bringing together a broad range of Little Tokyo stakeholders to speak with one voice, we protect, preserve, and promote the character and values of our historic community.
Since our founding in 1999, we have served as a voice of the Little Tokyo community to protect, sustain and promote our historic Japantown. From advocating for responsible redevelopment to serving our community in the wake of COVID-19, we are proud to represent the interests of the neighborhood.
We have protected the interests of Little Tokyo via sustainable redevelopment and join development in collaboration with Metro.
LTCC represents all stakeholders who care about the Little Tokyo community. This includes residents, businesses, and religious, cultural, and community organizations.
Founded in 1999, LTCC serves as the nonprofit community coalition to represent stakeholders to preserve historic Little Tokyo community.
LTCC is proud to represent a wide diversity of ongoing projects and initiatives. We hold weekly meetings, annual programmings and represent the Little Tokyo stakeholder voice in a number of spaces.. All interested parties are welcome and urged to apply to become a member.

In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, LTCC has activated our community to uplift and provide needed aid. We urge interested individuals to check out Community Feeding Community and our Small Business Relief Fund GoFundMe.
We hold monthly meetings open to the public where we discuss current challenges facing the community, ongoing initiatives, and ways to engage our stakeholders. During COVID-19, all meetings are held virtually on Zoom.
LTCC manages a wide portfolio of ongoing projects and initiatives. From partnerships with Metro on the Regional Connector Joint Development to Sustainable Little Tokyo Revisioning, we hope you will join us in our mission to protect Little Tokyo!
