Japanese furoshiki is a traditional wrapping cloth that combines function and elegance. Eco-friendly before eco-friendly was even a thing, furoshiki is a beautiful way to wrap gifts and transport items. We're thrilled to join legacy business Rafu Bussan in this special workshop.

One small (bento-size, 16x17 inch) furoshiki from Rafu Bussan made from vintage cotton rice sacks is included in the price of the workshop. Select one from the options provided on the ticketing page.

Carol from Rafu Bussan will be at the workshop to offer additional sizes of furoshiki for you to purchase separately.

We'll practice wrapping a variety of common items for gift giving and transporting. We'll walk through wrapping items for flat objects, bottles, and odd-shaped objects.

$44 per participant
