DJ Icy Ice is a world-renowned DJ, turntablist, and founding member of the legendary Beat Junkies crew from Los Angeles.
Key-Kool @keykool
Key-Kool is a trailblazing MC, producer, and founding member of the Los Angeles hip hop collective The Visionaries, alongside 2Mex, LMNO, Lord Zen, Dannu, and DJ Rhettmatic. Key-Kool also co-founded Up Above Records, an independent label that championed authentic West Coast hip hop and helped elevate voices from the underground to a global stage.

DJ Puffs is a love-centric culture creator who has given Los Angeles unforgettable moments in music for nearly two decades. In addition to being a club, event and festival DJ, Puffs served as Music Director and DJ for the campaign and inauguration of Los Angeles’ first and only woman Mayor, Karen Bass.

COSTUME CONTEST
This year’s prizes include a 1st place cash prize of $500 for each category. We are excited to see what you all come up with this year!
HOW TO ENTER THE COSTUME CONTEST
You will have the option to sign up by Thursday, October 23 or on site at the event! There is no limit to the number of contestants that can sign up.
Please note: Only the finalists for each category will be the only contestants who will be invited on stage during the Costume Contest Program. Judges will identify the top 10 individual contestants and the top 5 group contestants to advance to the finals by photos taken at check in. Please refer to the description in the Google Forms for more details about costume contest timeline and details.
COSTUME CONTEST GUIDELINES
Both purchased and handmade costumes are welcome! Show us your passion for your character and the spirit of cosplay!
Final contestants will be judged on overall presentation, including:
Embodiment and personality of the character
Pose and walk quality
Overall costume presentation (well-fitted and ironed)
Bonus points for wig or hair styling and makeup.
Each finalist will have 60 seconds on stage. You will NOT be able to use a microphone or designate any music.
Please refrain from doing anything that would be dangerous or impede the contestant after you from coming on stage. Please do not leave anything on the stage (costumes, confetti, etc).
Haunted Little Tokyo reserves the right to ask any guest to leave the venue or change costumes if they have offensive qualities.

Bernard Chang is an Asian-American comic book artist and designer, best known for his work in the comic book and entertainment design industries. He is currently the artist and co-creator, along with writer Gene Luen Yang, of MONKEY PRINCE (DC Comics) featuring DC’s newest superhero based on the legendary Monkey King and the Journey to the West mythology, as well as the artist of the upcoming Marvel Comics series, SORCERER SUPREME; and is a former Walt Disney Imagineer, designing rides and attractions as a blue sky concept designer.
Sam Futerman @samfuterman
Samantha Futerman is a Korean-American director, producer and actor. She was born in Busan, South Korea and adopted by a loving family in New Jersey. In 2013, Samantha was reunited with the identical twin sister she never knew she had, who was adopted to and raised in Paris, France. Her credits as an actor include Memoirs of a Geisha, 21 & Over, The Rookie, NBC’s Law & Order: SVU, Showtime’s The Big C and Kroll Show on Comedy Central. Her directorial debut, the documentary Twinsters, premiered at SXSW 2015 in the documentary competition category and received a special jury recognition for editing. Samantha enjoys raising awareness for the greater adoption community, surfing, pizza & BTS. Her bias is Hobi.

Nancy Yap @causeusa
Nancy Yap is the Executive Director of the Center for Asian Americans United for Self Empowerment (CAUSE), a nonprofit organization that is committed to advancing the political and civic engagement of leaders in the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community.
Last year, the LA County RR/CC brought an official Mobile Vote Center to Haunted Little Tokyo. We broke the county’s record for ballots cast at a mobile vote center and stayed open until 10 PM.
Let’s break records again! Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk is returning with an official ballot drop-off box for the special election. So bring your ballots and cast them at our official ballot box at Haunted on 10/25!
