Legacy Giving
Anyone can leave a legacy with Little Tokyo. Leave a lasting legacy to protect and preserve this historic Little Tokyo for future generations by making a planned gift to Little Tokyo Community Council.
In addition to supporting our work through your generous cash donations, here are other ways you can contribute to the sustainability of LTCC’s work to ensure Little Tokyo continues to thrive. Many of these options are a win-win for you, the donor, and LTCC. We encourage you to consult with your financial advisor to discuss the tax implications of these options.
-
One of the easiest ways to help involves simply naming Little Tokyo Community Council as a beneficiary in your will and living trust. A bequest may be for a particular dollar amount or percentage of your estate. Estate tax savings may be significant. Click here to learn more about making a bequest to LTCC.
-
Often overlooked by donors, naming Little Tokyo Community Council as a partial beneficiary of these assets provides support for LTCC’s work.
-
Life income gifts allow you to leave a gift in the care of Little Tokyo Community Council, while earning income for yourself during your lifetime. The two most popular life income gifts are charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities.
-
If you are a business owner, own real property, or have any other type of complex asset, giving options exist that can both help LTCC and benefit your family financially.
If you have already made a planned gift to LTCC, or would like to speak to someone about a planned gift, please contact Kisa Ito at kisa@littletokyola.org or (213) 293-5822.
